WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE PRAY? A TESTIMONY SHARED.
Pray and you shall receive the answers so our Lord Jesus Christ Say.
Get ready to have your faith strengthened! Today, I am sharing a powerful testimony of bold prayers and big answers! Warning! This will encourage you.
Several months ago, social media became the engine God used to ignite
His people to pray for Pastor Robert Morris (Gateway Church). In what
could have been his last moments, Pastor Robert asked his wife to use
social media to ask people to pray for him. Hours later, I saw reports
of churches around the world holding prayer meetings for this man of
God.
What stood out to you in this remarkable testimony of God’s faithfulness and the activation of his earthly army of intercessors?
God keeps impressing this truth into my heart. “In this world, you
will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Pastor
Morris experienced great trouble. God’s Spirit led him to ask for prayer
because God had a plan for him beyond this trouble. God already planned
to overcome this situation.
Is God inspiring you to ask for prayer?
My prayer for us:
Almighty God, thank You for strengthening our faith. Thank You for
letting us see the reality of Your goodness expressed toward Pastor
Robert Morris. Empower us to express this renewed faith in fervent
prayer. We resist the heavy burden we often associate with prayer. Your
yoke is easy and Your burden is light
Forgive us for when we have been lethargic in prayer. Forgive us for the unbelief that has hindered our prayers.
Let our faith be childlike. Let prayer flow out of us as naturally as our own breath.
We desire to be BOLD and courageous in our asking for what You say is ours.
Let the eyes of our hearts be flooded with light so that we know when
and what to pray. We desire to be filled with new levels wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of You.
In Jesus, I pray.
Amen
Matthew 11:28-30 The Passion Translation
“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply
join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m
gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in
me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”
PRAYING FOR YOU TODAY : "God will remember your request today and grant you speedy answers. He will remember all your good works and reward you greatly. Your Sins and Curses shall no longer stand as hindrances to your manifestations. It is your time to shine in Jesus name. Amen." http://www.howtopraywithprayerpoints.blogspot.com

Do God Answer Our Prayers?
DO GOD ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS?
Since faith is the basis of prayer, people cannot use prayer to get their own way; for then they would be arrogantly commanding God instead of humbly submitting to him. They would be wanting their will to be done instead of God’s. Christians are assured that God answers their prayers when they pray in Jesus name . This does not mean that they merely add the words”in Jesus name” to their prayers. Rather it means that they pray on the authority Jesus gives them, and ask for things that have Jesus approval
There is no formula that guarantees answers to prayer regardless of the way people live. Christians must understand God’s word so that they can live in obedience to his teachings and learn to pray for the right things. Unchristian conduct and unchristian attitudes are among the causes of unanswered prayer. A disciple of Jesus who became a leading teacher in the early church once wrote, “We receive from God whatever we ask, because we obey his commands and do what please him. “We are sure that he hears us if we ask him for anything that is according to his will.( 1 John 3:22; 5:14).
At times however, God may choose not to give his people what they ask for, even when they are not guilty of disobedience of selfishness. The reason may be that he has something better for them. Having perfect knowledge, he knows what is best. He may therefore give believers what they would have asked for if they had the full knowledge that God has. These better answers are not always immediately obvious, and therefore patience is a necessary part of true prayer.
Jesus and the New Testament writers repeatedly mention the need for persistence in prayer. This is not because God needs to be persuaded. Christians do not have to beg from a God who is unwilling to give, but they do have to exercise a constant trust in him. Faith is not an occasional exercise that makes a call for supernatural aid and then forgets the matter. Faith involves perseverance. By their constant prayers, Christians express their unwavering faith in their heavenly Father.
