THE INDESCRIBABLE GOD.

THE INDESCIBABLE GOD - 2 Corinthians 6:15This verse is a conclusion of Apostle Paul’s discussion about the collection of goods and money from the believers in order to share these blessings with others as gifts. He also mentioned that God loves those who give cheerfully and God will pour out His abundant blessings on them. But above all these gifts and blessings, there is one particular gift in which Apostle Paul calls the indescribable gift. That indescribable gift is none other than the salvation that we receive through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. There are no other gifts and blessings greater than the salvation that we receive. This is what we should primarily be thankful for. No riches in this world can be compared to the salvation that we receive from God. That is why we need to share this indescribable gift with others.

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for the indescribable gift that You have given to me. Thank You for saving me and making me Your child. Help me Lord, to share this indescribable gift with others, so that they too can experience your unconditional Love. Amen.
Thank you for being such an inspiration to us. We would appreciate it if you would take a minute and forward our daily emails to others. Tell them how Christ is working in your life and encourage them in their walk with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Thank You & God bless,

What Happens When We Pray? A Testimony Shared.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE PRAY? A TESTIMONY SHARED.

Pray and you shall receive the answers so our Lord Jesus Christ Say.

Get ready to have your faith strengthened! Today, I am sharing a powerful testimony of bold prayers and big answers! Warning! This will encourage you.
Several months ago, social media became the engine God used to ignite His people to pray for Pastor Robert Morris (Gateway Church). In what could have been his last moments, Pastor Robert asked his wife to use social media to ask people to pray for him. Hours later, I saw reports of churches around the world holding prayer meetings for this man of God.

What stood out to you in this remarkable testimony of God’s faithfulness and the activation of his earthly army of intercessors?
God keeps impressing this truth into my heart. “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Pastor Morris experienced great trouble. God’s Spirit led him to ask for prayer because God had a plan for him beyond this trouble. God already planned to overcome this situation.
Is God inspiring you to ask for prayer?
My prayer for us:
Almighty God, thank You for strengthening our faith. Thank You for letting us see the reality of Your goodness expressed toward Pastor Robert Morris. Empower us to express this renewed faith in fervent prayer. We resist the heavy burden we often associate with prayer. Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light
Forgive us for when we have been lethargic in prayer. Forgive us for the unbelief that has hindered our prayers.
Let our faith be childlike. Let prayer flow out of us as naturally as our own breath.
We desire to be BOLD and courageous in our asking for what You say is ours.
Let the eyes of our hearts be flooded with light so that we know when and what to pray. We desire to be filled with new levels wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You.
In Jesus, I pray.
Amen
Matthew 11:28-30 The Passion Translation
“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.  Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”

How To Pray For Something You Want.

HOW TO PRAY FOR SOMETHING YOU WANT.

God cares about us, not only in spiritual matters, but in every area of our life. Casting all your cares upon Him, for He care for you. Scripture regarding prayer says, do not believe the lie of the devil that God does not hear prayers. Pray for something you want, God answers prayer on every subject.

How to pray for something you want is how to ask God to provide for your needs and it is God's desire to give unto us His best. One of the verses about prayer says, "And I say unto you ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that ask receive and he that seek find and to Him that knocked it shall be opened- Luke 11:9-10. God is the giver of all good things He longs to give them to us when we ask Him- James 1:17.

SCRIPTURE ON HOW TO PRAY:

1. Repent from your Sins, both known and hidden Sins. Say, Lord Jesus have mercy upon my sins and wash me with your blood in Jesus name. Amen.

2. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior. this is if you have not do so.

3. Invite the Holy Spirit by praising God very well before proceeding to pray for something you want. Worship Lord with as many worship songs as possible.

4. Do not forget to thank God for all the things He Has done , for all the things He is doing and for all the the things He is yet to do.

5. Turn all your prayer needs( Something you want.. ) to prayer points. If you need blessing of God on your Job or business, say, "My job/Business is blessed today in the name of Jesus. If something you want is freedom from debt, why can you say, "Heaven have paid all my debts today in the name of Jesus". Pray the prayers in faith, believe that you will  receive an answer as you pray and you will surely receive the answer- Mark 11:23-24.

6. Do not allow your attention to be distracted while praying. Bind every spirit of  distraction that will try to divert your attention while praying. What did Jesus teach about prayer? Matthew 6:2 says, "But when for something you want go to your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you( You will get what you want).

7.  Try as much as possible to observe fasting and prayers regularly for effective prayers.

Power In The Words Of God.

POWER IN THE WORDS OF GOD.

Today's Verse

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, o Lord, my strength and my redeemer.” - Psalm 19:14
Have you ever had to make a speech in front of an audience? It can be a very challenging task. You have a limited amount of time to convey your message successfully to those who are listening. Planning is the key to achieving the goal. When you use the proper words, it can captivate your listeners. It can also enrich you with a sense of accomplishment. We have a similar challenge to face in our own spoken life. Words are like powerful tools from the heart. When they are used correctly, they can cultivate great things. But, when they are used incorrectly, the results can be discouraging. We must try to ensure that our words are positive and pleasing to God, to others, and to ourselves. This brings great honor to God and to our relationship with Him. It is an encouragement for others and blesses their life. It is also a great enrichment for our life.

Today's Prayer

Most gracious Father, I want to be a beautiful reflection of Your magnificent love. Help me to pattern my spoken life so that others will see You in me. All glory to you. Amen

A Prayer OF Confession.

                                A PRAYER OF CONFESSION.

Forgive us, Lord . . . for the things we have done that make us feel uncomfortable in Your presence. All the front that we polish so carefully for men to see does not deceive You. For you know every thought that has left its shadow on our memory. You have marked every motive that curdled something sweet within us.
We acknowledge--with bitterness and true repentance--that cross and selfish thoughts have entered our minds; we acknowledge that we have permitted our minds to wander through unclean and forbidden ways; we have toyed with that which we knew was not for us; we have desired that which we should not have.
We acknowledge that often we have deceived ourselves where our plain duty lay.
We confess before You that our ears are often deaf to the whisper of Thy call, our eyes often blind to the signs of your guidance,
Make us willing to be changed, even though it requires surgery of the soul and the therapy of discipline.
Make our hearts warm and soft, that we may receive now the blessing of Your forgiveness, the benediction of Your "Depart in peace . . and sin no more." Amen.
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain." So God granted him what he requested. I Chronicles 4:10 NKJV

What Make God Listens To Prayers.

WHAT MAKE GOD LISTENS TO PRAYERS.

God will listen to our prayers If we can do the following:

We Must Belong to God.
“There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5). Because Jesus is the mediator between us and God, we must give Him our total allegiance.
Before I yielded the control of my life to Jesus Christ, I would pray, but I was never sure if God was listening or would answer. After I asked Him to be the Lord of my life, I had confidence that God was hearing and answering my prayers.
We Must Pray to God the Father in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ.
Only the name of Jesus Christ gives us credibility with the Father — not our education, our wealth or poverty, our church, our background or our position — only Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:14).
Sometimes I use my husband’s name, or my church, or my work to gain credibility with people I meet. But only Jesus’ name gives us credibility with the Father.
We Must have a Clean Heart.
Psalm 66:18 says, “If I had known of any sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened to me.”
It is very important to keep a clean heart before God. Someone said, “I ‘fess them as I does them, I don’t bunch them.” Don’t wait until you go to church or a crisis arises in your life to confess your sins to God. As soon as you become aware of an attitude or action that is displeasing to God, admit that it is wrong and thank God for His forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 tells us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We Must have a Forgiving Spirit.
In Mark 11:25, Jesus says, “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven my forgive your transgressions.”
Jesus makes it very clear that we can’t carry anger, hatred, or bitterness in our hearts toward anyone if we expect God to forgive us and/or hear our prayers.
We must Pray in Faith.
Jesus said in Matthew 21:22, “And everything you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.”
The very fact that you are asking God for your needs demonstrates your faith.
The answers come every time, but not always in the way we expect.  There are times when God answers prayer as soon as we pray. Other times we have to wait for them to be answered. Sometimes is answer is “No”, like all good parents, He gives us what is good for us, but not what is harmful to us, but He always  listens and answers.

If you want to be sure God is listening to your prayers, consider if you have ever asked Jesus Christ into your life, you can do so right now by submitting to him with a simple but powerful prayer.
“Lord Jesus, I want you to listen and answer my prayers, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
If you prayed this prayer, we would love to hear from you . Perhaps we could connect you with a mentor or provide resourceful links that could help you in your journey to know God in a deeper way.

Is It Wrong To Pray For Someone's Well Being Without Their Consent?

IS IT WRONG TO PRAY FOR SOMEONES WELL BEING WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT?
Biblical point of view, there is nothing wrong to pray for someone’s well being without their consent. If it is wrong, there would not be a prayer called, prayer of intersession.
God gives us instructions to pray for others in several places in the Bible. The apostle James tells us to “pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).
The apostle Paul encourages us to intercede for Church members and ministers, “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains” (Ephesians 6:18-20).
Paul exhorts us “that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, emphasis added throughout).
Jesus Christ even commanded, “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44, emphasis added).
Why does God want us to pray for others? Because intercessory prayer reflects God’s own character of outgoing love and mercy. God wants us to think like He does, and praying for others helps us to think beyond ourselves and to grow in compassion for others.
Why does God want us to pray for others? Because intercessory prayer reflects God’s own character of outgoing love and mercy. God wants us to think like He does, and praying for others helps us to think beyond ourselves and to grow in compassion for others.
God compares prayer with sweet-smelling incense that pleases Him (Revelation 5:8).
Misconceptions about intercessory prayer
Intercessory prayer is not a numbers game. God does not have to wait until 10 or 20 or 100 people pray about a situation in order to intervene. Prayer is not a vote or petition that God has to act on if enough people “sign” it. Our prayers can’t force God to do anything. He can and does act when the time is best, whether one or a million pray about it.
Also, intercessory prayer is not something we should do to try to earn points with God so we can collect when something bad happens to us. Our motivation must be love—outgoing, unselfish concern.
What about the person seeking prayers? Can a person ask other believers to pray for him and then find it unnecessary to pray himself? No, we can’t delegate prayer. Prayer is part of our personal relationship with God, and so we must go to Him fervently ourselves, whether or not others are praying for us.
How to intercede in prayer
Prayer is a vital part of our communication with our loving Father in heaven. In the Bible He tells us how we can pray most effectively—in a way that pleases Him. Here are a few biblical principles for effective intercessory prayer. We should pray:
  • From the heart.
  • Regularly. In what is often called the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus told us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” . We should pray for our needs and the needs of others every day.
  • In detail. God knows everything; but He wants us to come to Him with all our specific requests because He likes to hear from us and to know what is important to us. The Bible compares our prayers to incense, and God loves prayers that are like “sweet incense beaten fine” (Leviticus 16:12).
  • With faith, knowing that God has all power and loves the people we are praying for.
  • With love. Godly love is totally unselfish and is the essence of God’s character .
  • Fervently. James 5:16 tells us “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
  • With a desire to help where we can. This might include physical help and encouragement. Cards, calls and visits might be helpful. It is not wrong to tell a person you are praying for him or her if it will help encourage the person.
  • Occasionally with fasting. When a situation is very serious or hits close to home for you, you may decide to fast and pray to draw close to God to present your supplication to Him.
Study biblical examples of intercessory prayer
The Bible gives many examples of people praying for others, and we can learn a lot by studying and meditating on these examples. Here are just a few:
  • Abraham interceded for the people of Sodom for the sake of his nephew Lot (Genesis 18:23-33).
  • Moses pleaded for God’s mercy for the sinning people of Israel (Exodus 32:9-14; Numbers 14:11-20).
  • Daniel made supplication to God for his people (Daniel 9:3-19).
  • The apostle Peter prayed for Dorcas (Acts 9:36-41).
  • The apostle Paul prayed for the people he served (Romans 1:9-10; 10:1; Ephesians 1:15-19; Philippians 1:3-11; 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13).
In all, use powerful prayer points to pray. Surely, God will answers your prayers. Amen

God Loves You.

GOD LOVES YOU.

Today's Verse

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Galatians 5:8
This verse tells us that God loves us, but what makes this verse interesting is the phrase “while we were yet sinners.” This phrase speaks of the idea that while we were enemies of God, God displayed His love towards us by sending Jesus to die for our sins. What a beautiful picture of love. We normally wouldn’t love our enemies, but God is different. We are the offender, we are His enemies, but He is the first one to come to us and offer His love and forgiveness. To reject that kind of love is foolishness according to the scriptures. The best response is to accept God’s love and to respond by loving Him with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Once we have accepted God’s love, we should reflect that kind of love to others. – Commentary by Jeremy Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Thank You for sending Your son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins. I wholeheartedly accept Your love. Please help me Lord to love my enemies the way You love me. Amen.

Will God Help Me If I Pray ?

WILL GOD HELP ME IF I PRAY?

God will help you if you seek after God. The reason people are concerned for more than just the physical aspects of life is that they are more than just physical beings. They have something in their make up that makes them different from all other animals. They have a spiritual capacity, something that makes them seek after more than the physical world can provide. All human beings are, in a sense , like God(Genesis 1:27). They long for a meaning to life, and this longing can be satisfied ultimately only by God.
Unlike other animals, human beings are not content simply to have food, shelter and the opportunity for reproduction. Because they have capacity to know God, they have a capacity for the unlimited. That is why, throughout human history, people have consistently tried for greater achievement( even if not always with the best motives), whereas animals are content to remain much as they always were. People have within them a spiritual element that causes them to reach forward for something outside themselves’.
Paul, one of the early Christian missionaries, referred to this when he was preaching to some Greeks in Athens. He saw that they were very religious, having many Gods and many altars. Among their altars was one that they had built in honor of the “unknown” God. Paul pointed out how this indicated that, since humankind was made in God’s image, people would look for God and perhaps find him as they felt about for him(Acts 17:27). Paul then introduced them to the God whom they were seeking.
In all seek after God today and hold your Faith. God will help you if you pray to him. Pray with prayer points that goes with what you want God to do for you(Help). Replace, “Will God help me “ with “God Help Me” and your life will never be same again.

Do God Answer Our Prayers?

DO GOD ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS?
Since faith is the basis of prayer, people cannot use prayer to get their own way; for then they would be arrogantly commanding God instead of humbly submitting to him. They would be wanting their will to be done instead of God’s. Christians are assured that God answers their prayers when they pray in Jesus name . This does not mean that they merely add the words”in Jesus name” to their prayers. Rather it means that they pray on the authority Jesus gives them, and ask for things that have Jesus approval
There is no formula that guarantees answers to prayer regardless of the way people live. Christians must understand God’s word so that they can live in obedience to his teachings and learn to pray for the right things. Unchristian conduct and unchristian attitudes are among the causes of unanswered prayer. A disciple of Jesus who became a leading teacher in the early church once wrote, “We receive from God whatever we ask, because we obey his commands and do what please him. “We are sure that he hears us if we ask him for anything that is according to his will.( 1 John 3:22; 5:14).
At times however, God may choose not to give his people what they ask for, even when they are not guilty of disobedience of selfishness. The reason may be that he has something better for them. Having perfect knowledge, he knows what is best. He may therefore give believers what they would have asked for if they had the full knowledge that God has. These better answers are not always immediately obvious, and therefore patience is a necessary part of true prayer.
Jesus and the New Testament writers repeatedly mention the need for persistence in prayer. This is not because God needs to be persuaded. Christians do not have to beg from a God who is unwilling to give, but they do have to exercise a constant trust in him. Faith is not an occasional exercise that makes a call for supernatural aid and then forgets the matter. Faith involves perseverance. By their constant prayers, Christians express their unwavering faith in their heavenly Father.
