THE CHEERFUL GIVER.
" The Bible states that a kind man benefits, but the cruel person brings trouble on himself- Proverbs 11:17"
While preaching to a company of His disciples and a great multitude of people, Jesus declared this all important statement of truth. Luke 6:45 saying , "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bring forth that which is good and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his bring forth that which is evil, for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speak- Jeremiah 17:9
Experience shows that giving and happiness often go hand in hand. The Apostle Paul wrote that, "God loves a cheerful giver". He was speaking of Christians who made generous donations to help relieve the hardship of fellow believers. ( 2 Corinthians 8: 4). Paul was not saying that they gave because they were happy. The reverse was true- they were happy because they were able to give.
Indeed, according to one study, giving activates regions of the brains associated with pleasure, social connection and trust, creating a warm glow effect. Another study found that giving money to someone else lifted participants happiness more than spending it on themselves. Dear friends, have you ever felt that because of your circumstances there is not much you can do? The truth is that everyone can experience the joy of being "a cheerful giver". When given with the right motive, the sum does not have to be large.
The truth about giving is that, God will always give you back much more than you give. Jesus went further when he urged his followers," Practice giving , and people will give to you. They will pour into your laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing. For with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you in returns- Luke 6:38."
May the Lord God help us. Amen.
PRAYING FOR YOU TODAY : "God will remember your request today and grant you speedy answers. He will remember all your good works and reward you greatly. Your Sins and Curses shall no longer stand as hindrances to your manifestations. It is your time to shine in Jesus name. Amen." http://www.howtopraywithprayerpoints.blogspot.com

Are You on The Victory Side?
ARE YOU ON THE VICTORY SIDE?
"For whatsoever is born of God overcome the world: and this is the victory that overcome the world even our faith. Who is He that overcome the world, but He that believe that Jesus is the son of God." 1 John 5: 4-5"
http://bit.ly/2g5biEQ
There are two sides of life. First, victory side, second, losing side. There is no midway. The victory side is the side of the victorious. The side of those who have fought battles of life and won. Call this the winning side.
On the contrary, those who have fought the battles of life and lost or refuse to fight the battles of life and remain unfulfilled are at the losing side. Beloved, might be you don't know that life is full of battles and so there are battles to fight. Not only fighting them, you must win and not lose, otherwise the purpose of God for your life will not be fulfilled.
Might be you do not know also that you are not born to this world without a purpose. The purpose of God for your life is your divine destiny. Read what the Bible says, "Thine eyes did not see my substance yet been unperfect and in thy book all members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them"
Beloved, for this to come to reality, you have to fight some batters and you must win them. The battle include putting resistance to enemies of your destiny who would not want what was written concerning you to manifests as the sons of Jacob did to stop their brother, Joseph. ( Genesis 37: 19-20 ).
The household witchcraft are there, so also are strongman of your Father's house, the prince of the air, principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places, the unfriendly friends, the spirit spouse and several other hunter of destiny.
The Bible says, "who is he that overcome the world... 1 John 5:5. In other words, who is he that is on the victory side. Who is he that fought the battles of destiny and won? Who is he that tread upon the serpent and scorpions of this world and was not hurt? Who is he that fought disease and was made whole? Who is he that overcame the failures and poverty of his family line and stood shoulder higher than all members of his family?
Only those who are on the winning/victory side will stay with Jesus in the kingdom of heaven while those who lost the battles because they did not have Christ, will stay with Satan in the kingdom of Hell which burns with sulfur and fire.
May God help us.

10 Short Reasons You Are Alive Today.
10 SHORT REASONS YOU ARE ALIVE TODAY.
1. BECAUSE Jesus wants you to repent of your sins and accept Him as your Lord and savior so as not be condemned with the world( John 3:16-18) and having your name in the book of life, by escaping hell fire reserved for unbelievers( Revelation 20:11-15). Again , Christ answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6). Are you following the right way? How do you know?
2. BECAUSE God wants you to worship him in Spirit and in truth before he calls you home: Yet a time is coming and has not come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. "In what ways have you been honest in your service to the Lord- both financially and righteously?
3. BECAUSE God wants you to be a blessing or source of blessing to others having been blessed by Him- Genesis 12: 1-3.
Today I pray for you that "As the anointing of God comes upon you, your business will begin to prosper in the name of Jesus. Amen.
4. BECAUSE God's mercy and compassion are still strong over you. ( Romans 9:15).
Today, I pray for you that "every marital siege in your life ends today in the name of Jesus.

Who is God to you and what is your relationship with Jesus?
WHO IS GOD TO YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?
God is the great protector. Jehovah- Nissi. He is the one who defends, delivers, covers, preserves, shelters and watches over us. The Bible says, Its banner over us is love. "Father you love me in spite of all my shortcomings. "Father, I pray that you find me faithful as I extend your love onto those who hurt me also. May I always be ready to show love to anyone who does any injustice against me because you have shown your merciful love to me. Thank you for your love."
What is your relationship with Jesus? Perhaps you wonder what is so special about the man called Jesus that should make you to be one with Him. Let me tell you a few: In proverbs 14:12, the Bible says,"There is a way that seem good unto a man, but the end is perdition( eternal destruction). Any way you are walking upon, or whatever men make you do in the name of God or religion, if it will not bring you into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, it is the way of death. This is because Jesus himself said in the Bible, I am the sway , the truth and the life, no man come unto the father but by me (John 14:6). Moreover, the Bible says in Eccl. 12:14, For god will bring every work into judgement with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be for evil.
Dear reader, there is something interesting about God's judgement. He will not judge any man directly. He has handed over the great task to His only begotten Son, JESUS CHRIST. Hear the Bible: "For the Father judge no man, but hath committed all judgement unto the Son, that all men should honor the Son, honor not the Father who hat sent Him" (John 5: 22-23). Now if you say you do not need Jesus, do you know what you are saying? You are dishouring God the Father. That is why the Bible says in John 3:18, "He that believe on Him is not condemned: but he that believe not is condemned already for hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God".
What is your relationship with Jesus? He has paid the price of your redemption. Why then will you die in your sins? Choose you this day whom you will serve- God or the devil? All that He is asking you to do is realize that you a sinner, confess your sins to Jesus, and ask Him to be merciful unto you. Then invite Him personally into your heart as Lord and Savior (Proverbs 28:13). If you sincerely do this, then you will be brought into personal relationship with Jesus Christ(John 1:12). Do it today. Do not delay. Tomorrow might be too late.
PRAYERS:
1. Poverty, Lack and insufficient , bad luck, be destroyed in your life today in the name of Jesus.
2. Today, I pray that God will calm all storms around your life and pour wisdom on you in the name of Jesus.
3. Oh Lord God, make this month a month of new thing that must spring up for me, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, I declare my victory over difficult situations in Jesus name.
5. Today, I hug happiness, joy, supernatural progress and promotion to myself in the name of Jesus.

Is It Wrong To Pray For Someone's Well Being Without Their Consent?
IS IT WRONG TO PRAY FOR SOMEONES WELL BEING WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT?
Biblical point of view, there is nothing wrong to pray for someone’s well being without their consent. If it is wrong, there would not be a prayer called, prayer of intersession.
God gives us instructions to pray for others in several places in the Bible. The apostle James tells us to “pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).
The apostle Paul encourages us to intercede for Church members and ministers, “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains” (Ephesians 6:18-20).
Paul exhorts us “that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, emphasis added throughout).
Jesus Christ even commanded, “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44, emphasis added).
Why does God want us to pray for others? Because intercessory prayer reflects God’s own character of outgoing love and mercy. God wants us to think like He does, and praying for others helps us to think beyond ourselves and to grow in compassion for others.
Why does God want us to pray for others? Because intercessory prayer reflects God’s own character of outgoing love and mercy. God wants us to think like He does, and praying for others helps us to think beyond ourselves and to grow in compassion for others.
God compares prayer with sweet-smelling incense that pleases Him (Revelation 5:8).
Misconceptions about intercessory prayer
Intercessory prayer is not a numbers game. God does not have to wait until 10 or 20 or 100 people pray about a situation in order to intervene. Prayer is not a vote or petition that God has to act on if enough people “sign” it. Our prayers can’t force God to do anything. He can and does act when the time is best, whether one or a million pray about it.
Also, intercessory prayer is not something we should do to try to earn points with God so we can collect when something bad happens to us. Our motivation must be love—outgoing, unselfish concern.
What about the person seeking prayers? Can a person ask other believers to pray for him and then find it unnecessary to pray himself? No, we can’t delegate prayer. Prayer is part of our personal relationship with God, and so we must go to Him fervently ourselves, whether or not others are praying for us.
How to intercede in prayer
Prayer is a vital part of our communication with our loving Father in heaven. In the Bible He tells us how we can pray most effectively—in a way that pleases Him. Here are a few biblical principles for effective intercessory prayer. We should pray:
- From the heart.
- Regularly. In what is often called the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus told us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” . We should pray for our needs and the needs of others every day.
- In detail. God knows everything; but He wants us to come to Him with all our specific requests because He likes to hear from us and to know what is important to us. The Bible compares our prayers to incense, and God loves prayers that are like “sweet incense beaten fine” (Leviticus 16:12).
- With faith, knowing that God has all power and loves the people we are praying for.
- With love. Godly love is totally unselfish and is the essence of God’s character .
- Fervently. James 5:16 tells us “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
- With a desire to help where we can. This might include physical help and encouragement. Cards, calls and visits might be helpful. It is not wrong to tell a person you are praying for him or her if it will help encourage the person.
- Occasionally with fasting. When a situation is very serious or hits close to home for you, you may decide to fast and pray to draw close to God to present your supplication to Him.
Study biblical examples of intercessory prayer
The Bible gives many examples of people praying for others, and we can learn a lot by studying and meditating on these examples. Here are just a few:
- Abraham interceded for the people of Sodom for the sake of his nephew Lot (Genesis 18:23-33).
- Moses pleaded for God’s mercy for the sinning people of Israel (Exodus 32:9-14; Numbers 14:11-20).
- Daniel made supplication to God for his people (Daniel 9:3-19).
- The apostle Peter prayed for Dorcas (Acts 9:36-41).
- The apostle Paul prayed for the people he served (Romans 1:9-10; 10:1; Ephesians 1:15-19; Philippians 1:3-11; 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13).
In all, use powerful prayer points to pray. Surely, God will answers your prayers. Amen

How To Accept Jesus Christ As Your Savior.
HOW TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR
.
.
What does it mean to accept Jesus as Saviour? Does mankind need a Saviour? How do you accept Jesus as Lord & Saviour?
To understand why we need Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and how to accept Him in your life, we must first understand what sin is; who Jesus Christ is and why Jesus had to die on the cross.
To understand why we need Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and how to accept Him in your life, we must first understand what sin is; who Jesus Christ is and why Jesus had to die on the cross.
What is Sin?Sin is any thought, decision or action that rebels or transgresses the law & principles of God.The Bible tells us that man is sinful and unrighteous (Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23). All of mankind has a sin nature as a result of the sin of Adam which occurred in Genesis 3.Romans 5:12 says “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned”.The sin nature or flesh is the part of man that does not think with God nor can it please God. Every person is born with the sin nature in them. The New Testament Greek word is sarx. Kenneth Wuest defines sarx as “the totally depraved nature as dominating the unsaved individual.”The works or characteristics of the flesh or sin nature are found in Galatians 5:19-21.The person who has never accepted Jesus as Saviour only has this sin nature inside him and also controlling how he lives. Therefore his internal motives, goals and lifestyle are governed by the flesh or sin nature.
The Wages of Sin
Romans 6:23 tells us that the wages of sin is death. This death that is spoken of in Romans 6:23 means eternal separation from God or hell.
Therefore if there is no intervention from a Saviour pertaining to sin or the sin nature in your life, the eventual result of living as an unsaved person is eternity in hell.
Sin or the sin nature also hinders us from having right fellowship with God.
Before a perfect, holy and just God our sins are likened as debts to God for which we cannot pay those debts (Matthew 6:12). Failure for those debts to be paid results in eternal punishment.
This is why we all need a Saviour – Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ & His Life, Death & Resurrection
John 1:1,14 tell us that Jesus is God who took human form to dwell among the people. Jesus came to earth to teach us and guide us. He also lived as an example for us. Most importantly, He lived a perfect, sinless life which qualified Him to pay for our sins which we cannot pay. Jesus Christ’s death on the cross was His payment and sacrifice for the sins of the world (John 3:16).
Jesus Christ did not come to die for the righteous – because there are no righteous people (Romans 3:10).
Rather, Jesus came to die for sinners and pay the debt of sinners and in doing so He became our Saviour.
Luke 5:31-32 says, Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

How To Accept Jesus As Saviour
How do you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour? The Bible tells us that we accept Jesus Christ as Saviour through placing our faith or total trust in Him. There are over 50 verses that speak of salvation being through faith in Jesus Christ.
Accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour requires us to believe that salvation is only by Christ alone (John 14:6) and that only Jesus Christ is the one who paid for our sins on the cross. Therefore eternal life and a relationship with God is possible only by accepting Jesus as Saviour through faith.
Salvation is a FREE gift. Accepting Jesus Christ is not based on your personal works or merit (Ephesians 2:8,9). Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ.

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13 NKJV
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
John 1:12 NKJV
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
Why Not Make Your Eternal Decision NOW? Accept Jesus as Saviour.
We become born again Christians by GRACE through FAITH or TOTAL TRUST in Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior (Galatians 3:26) & (Ephesians 2:8,9). Salvation is a FREE gift received through FAITH in Christ.
PLEASE NOTE: You can choose to pray in your own words. This prayer is a sample prayer and it is only an EXPRESSION of your faith, belief & trust in Jesus. Salvation is by GRACE through FAITH or BELIEVING in Christ Jesus as your Lord & Saviour.
“Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your love. I thank You that You died on the cross for me and resurrected so that I may have life through You.
I confess Lord that I have sinned against You and today I ask You to forgive me of all of my sins, past present and future.
I repent of all of my sins and I ask You to cleanse me Jesus.
Thank You for forgiving my sins.
From this moment, come into my life Lord Jesus & take full control of my life. I want to follow You Jesus and I want to follow Your ways. Save me and from today, make me the person You want me to be.
I receive You Lord Jesus right now by faith. I trust You as my Lord and Savior – Amen”

How To Get What We Ask For In Prayer.
How to Get What We Ask for in Prayer.
One of the most significant verses in the Bible on prayer is 1 John 3:22, "And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight." What an astounding statement! John says, in so many words, that everything he asked for he got. How many of us can say this: "Whatsoever I ask I receive?" But John explains this was because we obey God's commands and do what pleases him. In other words, the one who expects God to do as he asks, must do what God wants him to. If we give a listening ear to all God's commands to us, He will give a listening ear to all our petitions to Him.
If, on the other hand, we turn a deaf ear to His precepts, He will be likely to turn a deaf ear to our prayers. Here we find the secret of much unanswered prayer. We are not listening to God's Word, and therefore He is not listening to our petitions. How to Pray in the Name of Christ It was a wonderful word about prayer that Jesus spoke to His disciples in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." Prayer in the name of Christ has power with God. God is very pleased with His Son Jesus Christ. He hears Him always, and He also always hears the prayer that is really in His name. But what is it to pray in the name of Christ?
There is nothing mystical or mysterious about this expression. If you go through the Bible and examine all the passages in which the expression "in My name" or "in His name" or similar expressions are used, you will find that it means just about what it does in modern usage.
If I go to a bank and hand in a check with my name signed on it, I ask for money from the bank in my own name. If I have money deposited in that account, the check will be cashed; if not, it will not be. If, however, I go to a bank with somebody else’s name signed on the check, I am asking in his name, and it does not matter whether I have money in that bank or any other, if the person whose name is signed on the check has money in their account, the check will be cashed. So it is when I go to the bank of Heaven, when I go to God in prayer. I have nothing deposited there and if I go in my own name I will get absolutely nothing; but Jesus Christ has granted to me the privilege of going to the bank with His name on my checks, and when I go, my prayers will be honored to any extent. To pray then in the name of Christ is to renounce the thought that I have any claims on God whatever, and approach Him on the ground of Christ's claims.
Praying in the name of Christ is not merely adding the phrase "I ask these things in Jesus' name" to my prayer. I may put that phrase in my prayer and really be resting in my own merit at the time. On the other hand, I might leave out that phrase but really be resting in the merit of Christ. But when I really do approach God, not on the ground of my merit, but on the ground of Christ's merit, God will hear me. A lot of our modern prayer is ineffective because men approach God imagining that they have some claim upon God where He is under obligations to answer their prayers. Great light is thrown upon the subject of "How to Pray" in 1 John 5:14-15: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." This passage teaches us plainly that if we are to pray right, we must pray according to God's will.

Persecution Of Christians : Why You Must Pray Against Recurrence Of Umpqua Community College School Shooting And Other Persecuted Churches.
PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS : WHY YOU MUST PRAY AGAINST RECURRENCE OF
UMPQUA COLLEGE SCHOOL SHOOTING AND PERSECUTED CHURCHES ALL OVER THE WORLD.
UMPQUA COLLEGE SCHOOL SHOOTING AND PERSECUTED CHURCHES ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Persecution of Christians can be traced historically based on the biblical account of Jesus in the first century of the Christian era to the present time. Early Christians were persecuted for their faith at the hands of both Jews from whose religion Christianity arose and the Roman Empire which controlled much of the land across which early Christianity was distributed. Early in the fourth century, the religion was legalized by the Edict of Milan, and it eventually became the State church of the Roman Empire.
Christian missionaries, as well as the people that they converted to Christianity, have been the target of persecution, sometimes to the point of being martyred for their faith. There is also a history of individual Christian denominations suffering persecution at the hands of other Christians under the charge of heresy, particularly during the 16th century Protestant Reformation as well as throughout the Middle Ages when various Christian groups deemed heretical were persecuted by the Papacy.
In the 20th century, Christians have been persecuted by various groups, including by atheistic states such as the USSR and North Korea. During the Second World War members of some Christian churches were persecuted in Germany for resisting Nazi ideology.Hitler expressed a desire to destroy the influence of Christian churches within the Third Reich, seeing it as absurdity and nonsense founded on Jewish lies. He planned to do this after the war, and not during it, believing "that suited his immediate political purposes".
In more recent times the Christian missionary organization Open Doors (UK) estimates 100 million Christians face persecution, particularly in Muslim-dominated countries such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Libya, Eritrea, Yemen,Ethiopia and Vietnam. Others are Iraq, Syria and North Korea.
Prayer
O Lord God, everyday we woke up, we are always fed with Christians been killed, slaughtered amd massacre all in the name of persecution. We are shocked O Lord with the news of senseless killing of the Umpqua Community College Students, the precious and value lives lost. Please, Lord, let the blood you shed on the cross of Calvary put ends to this senseless and barbaric killings.
To those who lost one soul or the other, please comfort them in your name and let them know that only you and alone you is there saviour. Amen
