SECRETS OF AN ANSWERED PRAYER.

"But let him ask  in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wave not is like  a wave  of sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive nothing of the Lord." James 1 : 6-7.
Be specific about your prayer, back it up with appropriate promises from the word of God, pray earnestly about your desire, believe that you received what you pray on and for and you should surely receive. If you believe you have received, at like you have received. 

1. Give thanks to God constantly without complaining . Do not stop  giving thanks  and believing God for the answer.

2. Always imagine the results  of your prayer, picture the answers and do not picture the problem.

3. The words you speak , shows the level of your faith in God. Do not confess against what you believe in God for. Let the poor say, I am rich today in the name of Jesus. Let the sick say, I am healed today in the name of Jesus. Let the weak say I am strong in the name of Jesus.

4. Explore the power of Fasting. Fasting will win the battle  and put the enemy to flight even thou failure in the past  has  been over and over again.

PRAYERS:

Father help us to remember the only boasting that really matters is that we boast in this alone: that we truly know You and understand that You are the Lord who is just and righteous!  Our own pride and forgetfulness of Your wondrous works and miraculous provisions will eventually lead to defeat. Our self-confidence, based solely upon our own abilities or wisdom, leads to misplaced trust and compromise in our spiritual lives. We consider the Bible heroes and fallen Christians throughout history and in our present lives who have allowed pride to master their thoughts and actions.  The enemy they faced was not on the battlefield, but a stronghold within the confines of their own hearts. Wisdom, strength, and riches are providential blessings that we do not deserve, but gifts that You distribute with delight. May we always heed the warning from I Cor. 10:12, “If you think you are standing strong, be careful, for you, too, may fall into the same sin.” In the name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.

BECAUSE Jesus wants you to repent of your sins and accept Him as your Lord and savior so as not be condemned with the world( John 3:16-18) and having your name in the book of life, by escaping hell fire reserved for unbelievers( Revelation 20:11-15). Again , Christ answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6). Are you following the right way? How do you know?

BECAUSE God wants you to worship him in Spirit and in truth before he calls you home: Yet a time is coming and has not come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit  and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. "In what ways have you been honest in your service to the Lord- both financially and righteously?

3. BECAUSE God wants you to be a blessing or source of blessing to others having been blessed by Him- Genesis 12: 1-3.

HOW WALKING WITH JESUS CHRIST WILL BENEFITS YOU THIS NEW MONTH.
"Behold,I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and be with him."- Revelation 3:20.

The World is a market place. Everyone comes to the market either to buy or sell. And when the market is over, everyone goes back home. Some leave early, some leave later. But all return home at one time or the other. Whether or not you are doing well in life, you must go home one day. What  preparation are you making for you to return home? Remember, only those that walk with Jesus will return home safely. 

In case you are doing well in life,consider this: the Bible asks, "What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his souls?" Matthew 16:26. If you are not doing so well in life today, you still need to consider your ultimate return journey home. Why should you lose in this world and lose again in the world to come? Now Jesus Christ said you must be born again to be able to return heaven-John 3:3-8. He also said that though there are many mansions in heaven, unless you walk with Jesus Christ the son of god, you will not have a portion there. Decide now, because, tomorrow may be too late.

On that day, who you know on earth, your academic qualifications, your wealth, status and achievements on earth will not be able to help you. Jesus Christ holds the key to the pearly gates of heaven, so if you want Him to open to you , then open your heart to Him and walk in His ways. It shall be well with you as you walk with Jesus Christ.

DAY OF PRAYER:
The mighty hands of God protection shall cover you and every member of your Family. Every evil arrow against you shall return back to the sender. Any alter raised against your progress shall be consumed by fire in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Meaning Jesus Name :How To Move From Condemnation To Life.

MEANING JESUS NAME : HOW TO MOVE FROM CONDEMNATION TO LIFE.

Today, I have good news for you. You can move from condemnation to life, for the Bible says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who work not after the flesh, but after the spirit. For the law of sin and death"- Romans 8:1-2.Which means it is impossible to be free from sin and eternal death by our own efforts.

 Only Jesus can make it possible because operational in Him is a law- the law of the spirit of life. This is superior to the destructive law of sin and death. how does the law of the spirit  of life operate? First, it shows you that Jesus is the one who is the way, the truth and the life.- John 14:6

Secondly it makes you realize that you are a sinner who needs help, for the Bible says, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and if we say we have not sinned there is no truth in us- Romans 3:23.

Thirdly, it shows you God's plan for salvation- See Romans 5:6-10.  And fourthly, it leaves you with the option to choose Jesus and live or the devil and die- John 10:10.

Dear friends, 
What is your relationship with Jesus? He has paid the price of your redemption. Why then will you die in your sins? Choose you this day whom you will serve- God or the devil. all that He is asking you to do is realize that you are a sinner, confess your sins to Jesus and ask Him to be merciful unto you. Then invite Him personally into your heart as Lord and savior(Proverbs 28:13). If you sincerely do this, then you will be brought into personal relationship with Jesus Christ- John 1:12. Do it today. Do not delay. Tomorrow may be too late.

Why will you not give your life to Jesus now and settle the issue of your home going once and for all? Decide now, because the Bible says tomorrow may be too late. 2 Cor. 6:2. Pray now, call on Jesus to take over your life. Do so now, God bless you as you do so now.

Beloved, you need to take this particular message seriously  because of the peculiar nature of our environment. Giving a place to the devil strategy means to give the enemy of progress access into your life. Allowing  devil strategy  to overtook you mean you give any sin a foothold in your life and you have go against your Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many ways by which devil can decide you to do its bidding.

1. Devil can trick you away from home : Do you know the danger of buying or eating anywhere? Before you know it, you are eating at the dinning table of darkness . A true Christian or Child of God should not buy food  or eat anywhere except he or she is looking for trouble. By eating anywhere, anyplace, and anytime, you know the devil to construct a building in your life. It means to allow Satanic exchange of your destiny.

2. How Devil uses Cinema Theater to deceive Christians : As a true Christian what are you doing in the Cinema thereat? When your colleagues are evangelizing somewhere, did you suppose to be in the Cinema Theater? That is the Devil strategy for you? By  allow so doing, you allow devil to control your spiritual life. If you are to watch films, let it be Christians films. Watch at your home with your children.

3. Prayerlessness: Do you experience that sometimes you may have the mind of praying on something, devotions on prayer or intends to join your colleagues in prayer in the church, mosque or elsewhere but suddenly you decide to forget about it or count it not necessary again. How Can I Pray and Be Heard By God?

                 HOW CAN I PRAY and BE HEARD BY GOD?

"Call unto me , and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things which thou know not".. Jeremiah 33:3.

Prayer can and does change things , irrespective of its state. People can give up concerning a situation , but when it comes in contact with the effectual fervent prayer of a believer , it submits to it. Prayer is the way out of  all troubles, it is the cure for all worries , anxieties and fears.
Many people in all religions pray. Yet many feel that their prayers are not answered . Firstly,  learn how people that have there prayer answered pray. Example of people that have there prayer answered is  Hezekiah? He was top die of a serious sickness. He has already received the message from the Lord through Prophet Isaiah , yet he prayed for God to lengthen His life span. God heard him and granted his desires. No condition is too tough that prayer cannot change. Prayer can travel to the deepest deep in a very short interval and gives result.
"In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the Prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, thus said the Lord, set thine house in order, for thou shall die and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and prayed unto the Lord. And said, remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, go and say to Hezekiah, thus said the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayers, I have seen thy tears, behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years". Isaiah 38:1-5.

It is true that Hezekiah pray to God, but what make is prayer answered? He(Hezekiah) pray with Faith that God must answer him. He(Hezekiah) walked with truth with Lord(repent its sins, both knowingly and unknown) and lastly with perfect heart. What is perfect heart to the Lord? A pure hearth, the heart that obeyed the commandments of the Lord.

Jesus taught us to avoid repeating set formula's in our prayers "When praying, "he said, "do not say the same things over and over again".(Matthew 6:7) if we want God to listen to our prayers, we must pray in the way that he approves. To do that, we need to learn what God's will is and then pray accordingly. 1 John 14 explains, "No matter what we ask according to God's will, he hears us. Try to pray with prayer points that suit your needs. Pray until you arrive at your breakthrough. Prayer actually works.

In another occasions , Hezekiah prayed unto God to deliver him and his people from the hand of Sennacherib, King of Assyria. King Sennacherib threatened King Hezekiah, he never knew that Hezekiah was a man of prayer. He thought that he could deal with Hezekiah as he dealt with Kings in other lands. We serve a living God, who answers prayers at all times.

What about Job. Job prayed unceasingly and God declared him untouchable by building an edge about him. Even Satan acknowledged Job as a great man.(Job !:8-10). Pray unceasingly, let your Church be  your Miracle house, the Lord god is at work in your life right now. He is directing your steps. What you thought was a setback is going to be a setup to greater blessings this year in the name of Jesus.

How To Teach Children To Pray.

           HOW TO TEACH CHILDREN TO PRAY.
" Then Children were brought to him that He might lay His hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people but Jesus said, let the little Children come to me and do not hinder them for such belong the kingdom of heaven and He laid His hands on them and went away ". Matthew 19:13-15

Jesus knows the important of Children to its kingdom when He said let the Children come to me and do not hinder them. How teach Children to pray is how to lead by examples. Pray in the presence of your Children goes along way to remind them that there is something in what you are doing. If you are the type that pray when troubles comes, then, you are not showing a good example to your Children. Let your Children see you praying at all times.

What about the Morning devotion? Let your Children see that you commit the day to God in prayer. Alert the Heaven with your praise and worship songs that your prayers are coming. Involves your Children in the Morning devotion program. Children love songs of praises and research shows that they do not forget it easily. songs like, " Hallelujah praise the Lord 3 times , my Jesus conquer Satan, Hallelujah praise the Lord " are common among the kids. Study at least one chapter from the Bible and let your Children contributed to the study. Commit the day to God in prayer by reading Psalm 23.

Let your Children knows the importance of God in relationship to prayers. Teach the Children that it is God that can provides anything they want for them. Let your Children knows that God answers our prayer when we pray to Him. Lead them in prayer wherein you pray for God to provide for the Family the daily bread. Since many Children likes bread, reciting this kind of prayer by them will not be a difficult task.

How did you celebrate Birthday for your Children ?. Are you like me that invites my Church Pastor and other prayer warriors from my Church to commit my Children in prayer to God during there Birthday? Teach Children how to pray. The inscription on the birthday cake of my Children usually read, "Thank you Jesus". This is a  prayer points but yet a powerful prayer. Even, if this is the only prayer you can teach your Children to pray, it is sufficient to take them through the day.

Show to your Children how god love them Read the scripture according to Mark 9:36-37 to them. I reads, "And he took a Child and put him in the midst of them and taking him in His arms, He said to them, whoever receives one such Child in my name receives not me but him who sent me ". show to  them that because God loves them, they should be thanking him and pray to God saying , "God I thank you for today, only your name shall be glorified ".

Let your Children see you that you also pray before going to sleep. Children loves seeing there parents in prayer. In the name of Jesus, I pray that your Children shall be honored among Nations. All shall realize that they are people God has blessed. Amen.

                                             A PRAYER FOR CHILDREN.

In the name of Jesus, no weapon formed against my Children shall prosper and every tongue that rises against them in judgement is condemned in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 54:17.

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for me? There is no problem that is greater than God. Your relaxing and refusing to be moved by whatever challenge is a demonstration of your trust in the ability of God to turn around the situation.I decree today that, "Wherever enemies gathered against your life and family, God's thunder will strike them down in the name of Jesus. " Amen. Reading from Genesis 18:24, "Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you at this time next year,and Sarah will have a son." When the disciples heard this they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?" Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." "Look", Peter replied,"We have left everything to follow you. Today, whatever be your problem, do not celebrate your problem. To celebrate your problem is to belittle the magnificence of your God. Problem celebrated is problem magnified. There is no problem that is greater than God. When you relax, it is a proof that you have handed the problem over to God and expect your Miracle to happen. Concerning the failure, relax, Concerning disappointment, relax. Concerning the issue of the fruit of womb, relax, concerning that ailment, relax. Refuse to be afraid. Refuse to be anxious, Refuse to be afraid. Refuse to be overwhelmed, do not be devastated. Do not forget, God is neither seen nor found in a depressive mood.

There is no better life than a life that is full of wonders. This is the kind of life that Jesus Christ truly reflected. At a point in your Christian race, the life of Christ begins to replace your natural life and the abilities of God are made manifest in your endeavors. As a believer, people should look at you and prefer to serve the God you serve as a result of the undeniable proof that they can visibly seen. "Saying, what shall we do to these men? For that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem and we can not deny it"- Acts 4:16. You need divine miracle of God to occur in your life to convince people that you are serving a living God. Today, the Lord is going before you and opening doors that no man can shut in the name of Jesus. Who and what are Miracle movers? Miracle movers are the power that leads you to your manifested miracle. It may be spiritual or supernatural power. According to the scriptures, Church of God, Big Faiths, Pastors, Ordained ministers of God, Boldness and fervent prayers are among what can be regarded as Miracle movers. The Church is a spiritual evidence of the miracles of God. It is the Church that acts as the medium through which the miracles of God manifests to the world. Miracles from god cause the Church to grow. When there are genuine miracles, there is always an explosion of attendance, spiritual growth and commitment to the work of God. The power of God that dwells in Pastors and ordained Ministers of God cause miracles to happen. They are miracle movers. The scriptures tells us that the Lord God commanded its disciples to cast out demons in His name. When Jesus Christ was here on earth and Jairus daughter died, He was there to bring the girl back to life. When the son of the widow of Nsin died, Jesus stood by and commanded the boy to rise. When Lazarus died, Jesus raised him up. When Jesus Himself died, He resurrected. The power of His resurrection will awaken everything dead in your life in Jesus name. Have we forgotten so soon the miracles that comes from the hand of renowned world Pastors like Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and Pastor Joel Osteen to mention but few? Faith can be define as life without fear. Miracles can not occur where there is fear. Faith comes with Boldness. With faith you can move mountains: be it sickness, a terminal disease, bareness, stagnation and whatever it is that is challenging the goodness of God in your life- Heb. 11: 33-35. What then is the reason why we regarded "Big Faith" as a Miracle mover? Big faith is Jesus kind of faith. With big faith many miracles happen. It takes big faith to walk upon the sea- Matt 14:22-25. It takes big faith to call forth the dead out of the grave- John 11:43. It takes big faith to open the eyes of the Blind- Mark 10:51-52. Faith is what you put to use for miracle to occur. It is not what you use your mouth to talk about. Be sure that God who has cause miracle to happen on one occasion and can cause it to happen in all occasions. PRAYERS.

God will listen to our prayers If we can do the following:

We Must Belong to God.

“There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5). Because Jesus is the mediator between us and God, we must give Him our total allegiance.

Before I yielded the control of my life to Jesus Christ, I would pray, but I was never sure if God was listening or would answer. After I asked Him to be the Lord of my life, I had confidence that God was hearing and answering my prayers.

We Must Pray to God the Father in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ.

Only the name of Jesus Christ gives us credibility with the Father — not our education, our wealth or poverty, our church, our background or our position — only Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:14).

Sometimes I use my husband’s name, or my church, or my work to gain credibility with people I meet. But only Jesus’ name gives us credibility with the Father.

We Must have a Clean Heart.

Psalm 66:18 says, “If I had known of any sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened to me.”

It is very important to keep a clean heart before God. Someone said, “I ‘fess them as I does them, I don’t bunch them.” Don’t wait until you go to church or a crisis arises in your life to confess your sins to God. As soon as you become aware of an attitude or action that is displeasing to God, admit that it is wrong and thank God for His forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 tells us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We Must have a Forgiving Spirit.

In Mark 11:25, Jesus says, “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven my forgive your transgressions.”

THE FAITHFUL GOD.

Today's Verse “No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.” - 1 Corinthians 10:13

The verse speaks of three truths about trials. First, trials are common to all. It means that you are not the only one who is undergoing that particular trial. Others are experiencing the same or even worse. Second, let us remember that God is faithful. He will not allow us to suffer trials that are beyond our capacity. Third, just like pain, trials are temporary. God himself provides a way out. You might experience the pain for a while, but you can endure it with the assurance that soon all these things will just pass away. This verse also reminds us that when trials come, we have the assurance of victory over them. All we need to do is completely trust in God and claim the victory.

Today's Prayer Lord, thank You for being my faithful God. Yes there may be lots of trials and testing that will come along my way, but I have a great and faithful God, who will help me get through all of it. Help me Lord to trust You more and more each day. Biblical point of view, there is nothing wrong to pray for someone’s well being without their consent. If it is wrong, there would not be a prayer called, prayer of intersession.

God gives us instructions to pray for others in several places in the Bible. The apostle James tells us to “pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).

The apostle Paul encourages us to intercede for Church members and ministers, “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains” (Ephesians 6:18-20).

Paul exhorts us “that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, emphasis added throughout).

Jesus Christ even commanded, “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44, emphasis added).

Why does God want us to pray for others? Because intercessory prayer reflects God’s own character of outgoing love and mercy. God wants us to think like He does, and praying for others helps us to think beyond ourselves and to grow in compassion for others.

Misconceptions about intercessory prayer

Intercessory prayer is not a numbers game. God does not have to wait until 10 or 20 or 100 people pray about a situation in order to intervene. He can and does act when the time is best, whether one or a million pray about it.

Prayer is part of our personal relationship with God, and so we must go to Him fervently ourselves, whether or not others are praying for us.

Prayer is a vital part of our communication with our loving Father in heaven. In the Bible He tells us how we can pray most effectively—in a way that pleases Him. Here are a few biblical principles for effective intercessory prayer. We should pray:

• From the heart.
• Regularly. In what is often called the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus told us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” . We should pray for our needs and the needs of others every day.
• In detail. God knows everything; but He wants us to come to Him with all our specific requests because He likes to hear from us and to know what is important to us. The Bible compares our prayers to incense, and God loves prayers that are like “sweet incense beaten fine” (Leviticus 16:12).
• With faith, knowing that God has all power and loves the people we are praying for.
• With love. Godly love is totally unselfish and is the essence of God’s character .
• Fervently. James 5:16 tells us “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
• With a desire to help where we can. This might include physical help and encouragement. Cards, calls and visits might be helpful. It is not wrong to tell a person you are praying for him or her if it will help encourage the person.
• Occasionally with fasting. When a situation is very serious or hits close to home for you, you may decide to fast and pray to draw close to God to present your supplication to Him.

Study biblical examples of intercessory prayer

The Bible gives many examples of people praying for others, and we can learn a lot by studying and meditating on these examples. Here are just a few:

• Abraham interceded for the people of Sodom for the sake of his nephew Lot (Genesis 18:23-33).
• Moses pleaded for God’s mercy for the sinning people of Israel (Exodus 32:9-14; Numbers 14:11-20).
• Daniel made supplication to God for his people (Daniel 9:3-19).
• The apostle Peter prayed for Dorcas (Acts 9:36-41).
• The apostle Paul prayed for the people he served (Romans 1:9-10; 10:1; Ephesians 1:15-19; Philippians 1:3-11; 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13).
