90 Minutes In Heaven.

        90 MINUTES IN HEAVEN.
"We do not live to ourselves and we do not die to ourselves. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord, so then whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lords. For to this end Christ died and lived again, so that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. Romans -14:7-9. Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to show us how to live and love, and also to die for our Sins so that we may have everlasting life in Him.

The world is a market place. Everyone comes to the market either to buy or sell. And when the market is over, everyone goes back home. Some leave early, some leave later. But all return home at one time or the other. Whether or not you are doing well in life, you must go home one day. What preparation are you making for you to return home? In case you are doing well in life, consider this: the Bible asks, "what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his souls? Matt 16:26.

If you are not doing so well in life today, you still need to consider your ultimate return journey home. Heaven is real and Hell fire is real. The Bible says, 90 Minutes in Heaven surpasses years in Hell fire. Why should you lose in this world and lose in heaven? Now Jesus Christ said you must be born again to be able to return heaven. John 3:3-8.

He also said that though there are many mansions in heaven, unless you come through Him,  you will not have a portion there- John 14:1-3,6. Why will you not give your life to Jesus now and settle the issue of your home going once and for all? Decide now, because the Bible says tomorrow may be too late. 2 Cor. 6:2. Pray now, call on Jesus to take over your life. Do so now, God bless you as you do so now.

Prayer Points:
I pray for you today, that, your helper will surely locate you in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Miracle Movers.

                                      MIRACLE MOVERS
"God, I surrender my heart to you. I give you all my disappointments, pain, and sufferings, which you alone can understand. Please, give me the strength to move forward." Amen Miracle do occur every hour. If you have time to pray, God have time to listen. It is the miracle from God that set Joseph free. That Lord that opens Joseph's door from the prison is opening your door today in Jesus name. As a Christian, you need miracle movers to arrive at your miracle. There is no better life than a life that is full of wonders. This is the kind of life that Jesus Christ truly reflected. At a point in your Christian race, the life of Christ begins to replace your natural life and the abilities of God are made manifest in your endeavors. As a believer, people should look at you and prefer to serve the God you serve as a result of the undeniable proof that they can visibly seen. "Saying, what shall we do to these men? For that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem and we can not deny it"- Acts 4:16. You need divine miracle of God to occur in your life to convince people that you are serving a living God. Today, the Lord is going before you and opening doors that no man can shut in the name of Jesus. Who and what are Miracle movers? Miracle movers are the power that leads you to your manifested miracle. It may be spiritual or supernatural power. According to the scriptures, Church of God, Big Faiths, Pastors, Ordained ministers of God, Boldness and fervent prayers are among what can be regarded as Miracle movers. The Church is a spiritual evidence of the miracles of God. It is the Church that acts as the medium through which the miracles of God manifests to the world. Miracles from god cause the Church to grow. When there are genuine miracles, there is always an explosion of attendance, spiritual growth and commitment to the work of God. The power of God that dwells in Pastors and ordained Ministers of God cause miracles to happen. They are miracle movers. The scriptures tells us that the Lord God commanded its disciples to cast out demons in His name. When Jesus Christ was here on earth and Jairus daughter died, He was there to bring the girl back to life. When the son of the widow of Nsin died, Jesus stood by and commanded the boy to rise. When Lazarus died, Jesus raised him up. When Jesus Himself died, He resurrected. The power of His resurrection will awaken everything dead in your life in Jesus name. Have we forgotten so soon the miracles that comes from the hand of renowned world Pastors like Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and Pastor Joel Osteen to mention but few? Faith can be define as life without fear. Miracles can not occur where there is fear. Faith comes with Boldness. With faith you can move mountains: be it sickness, a terminal disease, bareness, stagnation and whatever it is that is challenging the goodness of God in your life- Heb. 11: 33-35. What then is the reason why we regarded "Big Faith" as a Miracle mover? Big faith is Jesus kind of faith. With big faith many miracles happen. It takes big faith to walk upon the sea- Matt 14:22-25. It takes big faith to call forth the dead out of the grave- John 11:43. It takes big faith to open the eyes of the Blind- Mark 10:51-52. Faith is what you put to use for miracle to occur. It is not what you use your mouth to talk about. Be sure that God who has cause miracle to happen on one occasion and can cause it to happen in all occasions. PRAYERS
Today, the God of miracles will set before you an open door to sound health, wealth and prosperity in the name of Jesus.

My Sacrifice.

Today's Verse

“But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise, and I will fulfill all my vows. For my salvation comes from the Lord along.” – Jonah 2:9
While there is still a lot more to Jonah’s story then one or two verses, this verse in chapter two is probably one of the most important. It is here that Jonah begins to realize his true calling. It is here that he begins to see past his own selfishness and into the bigger picture. At this point he doesn't realize it yet, but God is teaching him one of the most important lessons a believer will ever learn. It is the lesson that reveals our reason for being. Each of us have been given a specific purpose in life and whether you can see it right now or not, it’s there. Jonah makes a solemn promise to “offer songs of praise and fulfill his vow to serve the Lord alone.” Today is a great day for us to do the same.

Today's Prayer

Father God, today I pray the prayer of Jonah. I will indeed offer my song of praise to You and fulfill my vow in service to You alone. Forgive me and teach me, so that I may serve You in the best way I can. Amen.

God Loves You.

GOD LOVES YOU.

Today's Verse

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Galatians 5:8
This verse tells us that God loves us, but what makes this verse interesting is the phrase “while we were yet sinners.” This phrase speaks of the idea that while we were enemies of God, God displayed His love towards us by sending Jesus to die for our sins. What a beautiful picture of love. We normally wouldn’t love our enemies, but God is different. We are the offender, we are His enemies, but He is the first one to come to us and offer His love and forgiveness. To reject that kind of love is foolishness according to the scriptures. The best response is to accept God’s love and to respond by loving Him with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Once we have accepted God’s love, we should reflect that kind of love to others. – Commentary by Jeremy Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Thank You for sending Your son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins. I wholeheartedly accept Your love. Please help me Lord to love my enemies the way You love me. Amen.

Is Your Jesus Too Small?

IS YOUR JESUS TOO SMALL?
I remember the remarkable success of a little book published by J.B. Phillips entitled Your God Is Too Small. It was a ringing challenge to seek a deeper understanding of the nature and character of God. It obviously struck a nerve as multitudes of people devoured the book in a quest to expand their knowledge of the majesty of God.
I wish that someone could provoke the same response with regard to Christ. In my years of publishing and producing educational materials for Christians, I have been puzzled by something strange. I have noticed that books about Jesus do not do well in Christian bookstores. I am not sure why this is so. Perhaps it has something to do with a widespread assumption that we already know a lot about Jesus or that there may be something irreligious about studying the person and work of Christ too deeply. Perhaps such study might disturb the simple faith we cling to.
My teaching career has spanned many decades. And though I have taught in the formal setting of colleges and seminaries, the bulk of my time has been devoted to adult lay education. This emphasis began in Philadelphia in the sixties when, while I was working as a seminary professor, I was approached by the pastor of the church my family attended to teach an adult course on the person and work of Christ. My class was composed of housewives, professional people, business people, and more. As we got into the material, I discovered a more passionate response to the content of my teaching than I had ever witnessed in the academic classroom. These people had never been exposed to any serious teaching of theology beyond what they had experienced in Sunday school. It was this class that pushed a button in my soul that catapulted me into the full-time endeavor of adult education.

Gentle Jesus, Meek and Mild

There seems to be something wrong with our understanding of Jesus. We speak in saccharine terms of “gentle Jesus, meek and mild,” and of his “sweetness,” but the depth and riches of his nature remain elusive to us. Now, I love to speak of the sweetness of Christ. There is nothing wrong with this language. But we need to understand what it is about him that makes him so sweet to believers.
When we consider Jesus as the second person of the Trinity, the eternal Logos who became incarnate, we note instantly that in any attempt to plumb the depths of his person we are stepping into the deep waters of searching for the nature of God himself. The Scripture says of Jesus in Hebrews 1:1–4:
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
Here the author of Hebrews describes Christ as “the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature.” Imagine someone who not only reflects the glory of God as Moses did after his encounter with God on Mount Sinai, but who actually is the very brightness of the divine glory.

The Very Glory of God

The biblical concept of divine glory is reiterated again and again in the Old Testament. Nothing can be likened to that glory that belongs to the divine essence and which he has placed above the heavens. This is the glory manifest in the theophany of the shekinah, the radiant cloud that displays the pure effulgence of his being. This is the glory of the One who dwells in light inaccessible, who is a consuming fire. This is the glory that blinded Paul on the Road to Damascus. The glory of Christ belongs to his deity as confessed in the ancient hymn, the Gloria Patria, composed by Trinitarians as they resisted the heresy of Arianism: “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.”
Athanasius in commenting on Hebrews 1 declared, “Who does not see that the brightness cannot be separated from the light, but that it is by nature proper to it and co-existent with it, and is not produced after it?” Or as Ambrose proclaimed,
Think not that there was ever a moment of time when God was without wisdom, any more than there was ever a time when light was without radiance. For where there is light there is radiance, and where there is radiance there is also light. For the Son is the Radiance of his Father’s light, co-eternal because of eternity of power, inseparable by unity of brightness.

The Very Revelation of God

But what can be said of Christ’s being “the exact imprint of his nature”? Are not we all created in the image of God and does not this reference merely speak of Jesus’s being the perfect man, the one in whom the imago Dei has not been besmirched or corrupted? I think the text means more than that. Phillip Hughes says,
The Greek word translated “the very stamp” [“exact imprint”] here means an engraved character or the impress made by a die or a seal, as for example, on a coin; and the Greek word translated “nature” denotes the very essence of God. The principal idea intended is that of exact correspondence. This correspondence involves not only an identity of the essence of the Son with that of the Father, but more particularly a true and trustworthy revelation or representation of the Father by the Son.
We remember the request made to Jesus by Philip when he said, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us” (John 14:8). We need to meditate upon the response of Jesus in John 14:9–11:
Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, “Show us the Father”? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.
He who would taste the fullness of the sweetness of Christ, and perceive the total measure of his excellence, must be willing to make the pursuit of the knowledge of him the main and chief business of life. Such pursuits must not be hindered by sentimentality or season.

To help you enjoy the bigness and beauty of Christ in greater measure, always pray to God with prayer points.

Prayer For God's Protection.

       PRAYER FOR GOD'S PROTECTION

......O Merciful God, be Thou now unto me a strong tower of defence, I humbly entreat Thee. Give me grace to await Thy leisure, and patiently to bear what Thou doest unto me; nothing doubting or mistrusting .Thy goodness towards me; for Thou knowest what is good for me better than I do.

Therefore do with me in all things what Thou wilt; only arm me, I beseech Thee, with Thine armor, that I may stand fast; above all things, taking to me the shield of faith; praying always that I may refer myself wholly to Thy will, abiding Thy pleasure, and comforting myself in those troubles which it shall please Thee to send me, seeing such troubles are profitable for me; and I am assuredly  persuaded that all Thou doest cannot but be well; and unto Thee be all honor and glory. Amen.

How To Get What We Ask For In Prayer.

How to Get What We Ask for in Prayer.

One of the most significant verses in the Bible on prayer is 1 John 3:22, "And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight." What an astounding statement! John says, in so many words, that everything he asked for he got. How many of us can say this: "Whatsoever I ask I receive?" But John explains this was because we obey God's commands and do what pleases him. In other words, the one who expects God to do as he asks, must do what God wants him to. If we give a listening ear to all God's commands to us, He will give a listening ear to all our petitions to Him.

If, on the other hand, we turn a deaf ear to His precepts, He will be likely to turn a deaf ear to our prayers. Here we find the secret of much unanswered prayer. We are not listening to God's Word, and therefore He is not listening to our petitions. How to Pray in the Name of Christ It was a wonderful word about prayer that Jesus spoke to His disciples in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." Prayer in the name of Christ has power with God. God is very pleased with His Son Jesus Christ. He hears Him always, and He also always hears the prayer that is really in His name. But what is it to pray in the name of Christ?

There is nothing mystical or mysterious about this expression. If you go through the Bible and examine all the passages in which the expression "in My name" or "in His name" or similar expressions are used, you will find that it means just about what it does in modern usage.

If I go to a bank and hand in a check with my name signed on it, I ask for money from the bank in my own name. If I have money deposited in that account, the check will be cashed; if not, it will not be. If, however, I go to a bank with somebody else’s name signed on the check, I am asking in his name, and it does not matter whether I have money in that bank or any other, if the person whose name is signed on the check has money in their account, the check will be cashed. So it is when I go to the bank of Heaven, when I go to God in prayer. I have nothing deposited there and if I go in my own name I will get absolutely nothing; but Jesus Christ has granted to me the privilege of going to the bank with His name on my checks, and when I go, my prayers will be honored to any extent. To pray then in the name of Christ is to renounce the thought that I have any claims on God whatever, and approach Him on the ground of Christ's claims.

Praying in the name of Christ is not merely adding the phrase "I ask these things in Jesus' name" to my prayer. I may put that phrase in my prayer and really be resting in my own merit at the time. On the other hand, I might leave out that phrase but really be resting in the merit of Christ. But when I really do approach God, not on the ground of my merit, but on the ground of Christ's merit, God will hear me. A lot of our modern prayer is ineffective because men approach God imagining that they have some claim upon God where He is under obligations to answer their prayers. Great light is thrown upon the subject of "How to Pray" in 1 John 5:14-15: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." This passage teaches us plainly that if we are to pray right, we must pray according to God's will.

Persecution Of Christians : Why You Must Pray Against Recurrence Of Umpqua Community College School Shooting And Other Persecuted Churches.

PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS : WHY YOU MUST PRAY AGAINST RECURRENCE OF
UMPQUA COLLEGE SCHOOL SHOOTING AND PERSECUTED CHURCHES ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Persecution of Christians can be traced historically based on the biblical account of Jesus in the first century of the Christian era to the present timeEarly Christians were persecuted for their faith at the hands of both Jews from whose religion Christianity arose and the Roman Empire which controlled much of the land across which early Christianity was distributedEarly in the fourth century, the religion was legalized by the Edict of Milan, and it eventually became the State church of the Roman Empire.
Christian missionaries, as well as the people that they converted to Christianity, have been the target of persecution, sometimes to the point of being martyred for their faith. There is also a history of individual Christian denominations suffering persecution at the hands of other Christians under the charge of heresy, particularly during the 16th century Protestant Reformation as well as throughout the Middle Ages when various Christian groups deemed heretical were persecuted by the Papacy.
In the 20th century, Christians have been persecuted by various groups, including by atheistic states such as the USSR and North Korea. During the Second World War members of some Christian churches were persecuted in Germany for resisting Nazi ideology.Hitler expressed a desire to destroy the influence of Christian churches within the Third Reich, seeing it as absurdity and nonsense founded on Jewish lies. He planned to do this after the war, and not during it, believing "that suited his immediate political purposes".
In more recent times the Christian missionary organization Open Doors (UK) estimates 100 million Christians face persecution, particularly in Muslim-dominated countries such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Libya, Eritrea, Yemen,Ethiopia and Vietnam. Others are Iraq, Syria and North Korea.
                                                        Prayer
O Lord God, everyday we woke up, we are always fed with Christians been killed, slaughtered amd massacre all in the name of persecution. We are shocked O Lord with the news of senseless killing of the Umpqua Community College Students, the precious and value lives lost. Please, Lord, let the blood you shed on the cross of Calvary put ends to this senseless and barbaric killings.
To those who lost one soul or the other, please comfort them in your name and let them know that only you and alone you is there saviour. Amen

When Will You Share Your Testimony?

WHEN WILL YOU SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY?

Let me share with you how I started experiencing God of love reigning in my life. One day a man of God disclosed and led me to embrace four spiritual truths.

One, God of love created all his images including me with his intention of reigning in our lives for us to enjoy his love fully.

Two, Satan opposed God's intention by forcing himself into our lives to imprison and reign in us through self deceit and fear of death.

Three, God has instituted his salvation in Jesus Christ For us as we excercise our repentance and obedient-faith toward him. In hearing this, I did roundabout turn(Repentance) towards God. I then invited with obedient-faith the unseen crucified but risen Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord into my life. who used the efficacy of his blood, sacrificial death, and resurrection to destroy and bury Satan, Sin, Deceit and fear of death in my life. Jesus then created a new and holy nature in me with which He reconciles me with the Father and filled me with the Holy Spirit and fire for fullness of God to reign in my life.

Four, God's reign demands constant fellowship of obedient-faith with God. Therefore, in my spiritual devotion every morning, I saturate my life and day with the redeeming blood of the Holy Spirit and Fire. God utilizes all these spiritual elements to reign in my life by revealing his will to me and giving me enablement of obedient-faith to claim his will  namely-love, transformation, righteousness, victory, blessings, fruitfulness, success, security and other goodness.
You can take the same steps of repentance, obedient-faith, and constant  fellowship with God now and start experiencing the reign of God of love in your life forever.

God hears your prayers. He is listening. He hears you pray. Discover God's love for you in his word.
God's word has a refreshing.
Refuse to be fearful about what happen to you. God is faithful and He will take care of you if you trust him. Do not be afraid of the devil. The devil can handle you. But he can't handle the one to whom you are joined; he can't handle the one to whom you are  united; he can not handle the one who's name is above all names and by whose name all knees shall bow.
I pray today that God will give you strength to fight every battles. Amen.
Refused to be discouraged about what you are facing. God hears your prayers. The remedy for discouragement is the word of God. When you feed your heart and mind with its truth, you regain your perspective and find renew strength. trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight( Proverbs 3: 5-6 )
God hears your prayers. Wear cheerful looks in the midst of suffering. I have been asked on hundreds of times in my life why God allows tragedy and suffering. I even asked " Does God Cause Us To Suffer?". I have to confess that I really do not know the answer totally, even to my own satisfaction. I have to accept by faith that God is sovereign and he is a God of love, mercy and compassion in the midst of suffering.
Prayer.
Claim this prayer point by saying " Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ at my right hand, Christ at my left, Christ in the front, Christ in the heart of everyone thinking of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me." Amen.
